How we work
Learn about our business focussed approach to HR consultancy
Let’s face it, the Human Resources function has often developed a reputation for either being taken for granted or avoided like the plague, and why wouldn’t it be? If you’re running a growing small business, the last thing you want to be is slowed down with rules, onerous processes, red tape and bureaucracy.
What you do need, though, is shrewd HR solutions, so you can get things right first time, and when things do go wrong (which they will) you can prevent them escalating by resolving any issues early on. Don’t believe us? Keep up with our savvy HR solutions by reading our blog. HR The priority is to get you back on track sooner rather than later, and for that reason, we’re pleased to introduce Crosse HR, the experts in small business HR.

Our clients need solutions
The organisations we work with don’t really fit a ‘type’ – some operate in the financial sector, others are social enterprises or non-government agencies, and we also love working with young, exciting businesses in the digital and media sector (it keeps us fresh!).
As diverse as our clients, what they usually have in common is a London base, and they’re always looking for shrewd HR solutions, rather than an HR department.
Crosse HR gets results
By approaching HR from a business perspective, Crosse HR has developed a strong reputation for delivering results. If you’re facing an HR issue, and have a preferred outcome in mind, HR specialist Olga Crosse will move heaven and earth to help you to achieve it.
We’re slick at handling the HR processes too, with more than a touch of pragmatism built in to make sure they really work for you and your business.
We keep the costs sensible
There’s no such thing as a standard, out-of-the-box service when it comes to HR, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep it sensible! That’s why we take a flexible approach to our pricing, so we can gear our service to exactly what you need.
We have 3 flexible pricing options for you to choose from, or we can mix and match so you have all of your bases covered.
1. On Call Retainer
Ideal if you need consistent HR support either long-term or for a fixed period of 3 months or more. With Crosse-on-Call you get what it says on the tin: Crosse HR will be on call to offer you shrewd HR solutions 24/7, and through working together for an agreed number of days a month we can get you the results you want.
2. Rapid Response
For when you need good HR advice, and fast. Picture the scene. You arrive in the office on Monday morning. A new client has called in and placed a major order two months before they said they would, 3 people have rung in sick, the broadband isn’t working, so in short all hell has broken loose. What you need is good advice and fast. Our Rapid Response service guarantees you answers over the phone for an agreed fixed fee within 4 hours, so you can at least get the situation contained, then we can agree next steps when the initial crisis has been averted.
3. HR Review Plan
If you could just see what’s over the hill you’d know what HR solutions you need, but at the moment you can’t quite put your finger on it. We know. That’s why our job is to help you to get the right HR infrastructure in place, so you can rest assured at least 80% of the time that you have everything covered. A thorough HR Review will help you to think through anything that you foresee may be a challenge in the future, as well as helping you to take a planned approach to getting the basics right. We can help you to put things in place too if you think that would help, then if the 20% does happen, we’re ready to respond – fast.
